, an eclectic boutique of one-of-a-kind, indulgent jewelry & gifts from artisans across the country. With Susie's Irresistibles, Susan opens her home for one-on-one shopping, does home-shows, and showcases her goods at renowned art festivals throughout the summer. She is also the creator of the fabulous Mommy Bracelets that are featured on this website.
Charla, the SHORT brunette (with a little gray!) is the one who takes all of the registration fees at WeePeats. When she's not counting change, she's living life with her FOUR kids, ages 7 - 14. And yes, Susan can borrow her daughter anytime! When not in WeePeat-mode, Charla is an Advisor for Lia Sophia Jewelry where she does home parties with beautifully hand-crafted jewelry http://www.liasophia.com/cdomina.Susan & Charla met in 2001 and they both love a bargain! Susan was an avid garage-saler and Charla was a serious eBayer. In hearing about a similar consignment sale in Virgina, Susan said, "We can do that HERE where we get the best of both worlds!" And so with the support of her husband Jay, and the hesitation of Charla's husband David (who now "sees the light"!), WeePeats' first event was in October 2004.
In seven sales, from Webster to Perinton to Irondequoit & now the Dome Arena in Henrietta, WeePeats has grown from 30 consignors to 400 - 2500 sq. feet to 25,000! And although Susan & Charla have a fantastic working relationship, WeePeats wouldn't happen without the best consignors, volunteers and shoppers in all of NY!
